The city of Olomouc has introduced a new tourist website. It is available at tourism.olomouc.eu and ready for tourists from all over the world. The new website has a simple and modern design that catches the eye at first glance.
The site, which has replaced an almost twelve-year-old presentation, is clearer and tourists can find everything they need to visit the city, from a cultural calendar to shared transport and sightseeing tips. “We are happy that we have managed to create an environment that will be beneficial for tourists who want to discover the attractiveness of our city,” said Viktor Tichák, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Tourism.
The new website showcases the best things to experience, visit and taste in Olomouc. “The website is based on photographs, the pages reflect current trends in design and usability, are fully responsive and linked to the city’s updated databases,” added webmaster Pavel Snášel from the marketing department of Olomouc City Hall.
The city will continue to update the website and expand the offer for tourists. “The tourist website is one of the important steps in the promotion of the city and the use of its tourist potential,” said Deputy Mayor Tichák. The design and preparation of the new website was carried out by the Rency design studio in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism and the Marketing Department.
