The Holy Trinity Column in Olomouc, inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List since 2000, represents the largest ensemble of Baroque statues within a single sculptural monument in Central Europe.

The column reaches a height of 35 metres, with a chapel located in its lower section. Its sculptural decoration includes 18 stone statues of saints, 12 light-bearers, and 12 relief busts of the apostles. The composition is crowned by gilded copper sculptures of the Holy Trinity at the top and the Assumption of the Virgin below. The larger-than-life figures are draped in flowing, airy garments, with expressive faces and dynamic hand gestures. The overall effect is natural and harmonious, avoiding the overly flamboyant style sometimes seen in Baroque art.
