Basic information
The tradition of „Olomoucké Tvarůžky“ (a ripened curd cheese) is almost 600 years old. The Museum of the Genuine „Olomoucké Tvarůžky“A. W. was opened in summer 1994 in the factory where „Tvarůžky“ had been originally produced. The tour begins in the basement of the company, where you can see the grinding and pressing of the curd. The actual production is located on the other floors. You will also get to know about the former manufacturers and their lives. The tasting of the cheese, very popular not only in the Czech lands, is a must part of the tour. In the Company Store, you can purchase a complete range of Genuine Olomoucké Tvarůžky, a wide range of products made of Tvarůžky as well as other cheeses and dairy products.

Museum’s tours are possible on request only outside the season. In the tourist season open daily. | The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.
