Basic information
The Lomené Gallery is located in the so-called slashed passage, in the historical place where the New Gate once stood as the border of Olomouc’s Předhradí and the burgher town. In the Broken Gallery, the passing visitor will be addressed by visual art in public space, contemporary street art. Thus, the group from ARTnative and their friends aim to create a cultivated space in which mainly young artists will create their works. A space that has a justification even in a historic city and wants to be a gateway for understanding new forms of art. The gallery is operated in cooperation with the owner of the passage, the Museum of Homeland History Olomouc.
