Basic information
The Metropol Cinema is currently the oldest movie theatre in Olomouc, located near the historic city center. Every week it brings selected movie news. In addition to the latest movies it also offers film treats from the film club. Metropol is a partner of the Project 100 and the Festival of popular-science films (AFO), which is organized by the Art Centre of the Palacky University.
It is also the base for the Festival of animated films (PAF) and the International Outdoor Film Festival. Several times a year, meetings and guided screenings of travel documents are held here.
