Basic information
This open-air museum of historic buildings is a rare demonstration of folk architecture in the Hana region. You can see more than 200 years old architecture and an exhibition dedicated to the history of agriculture in Hana demonstrating the lifestyle of peasants.
Rich collections of folk heritage in Hana consists of craft workshops, tools and machines of traditional crafts such as stove building, bookbinding, joinery, carpentry, cooperage, blacksmithery, saddlery, locksmithery, shoemaking, tailoring, dairy farming, and beekeeping.
The main part of the exhibition located in barns is showing the history of farming, harvesting, threshing and soil cultivation presented by steam engines, stationary engines, electric motors, threshers, wagons, plows, weeders, sowing machines and grinders. You will find a section dedicated to washing and ironing, a collection of toys and the original local inn from the thirties of the 20th century.
