During the second weekend in September, sixty monuments were opened to the public, who once again had the opportunity to visit places that are not normally accessible. However, European Heritage Days offered a rich program throughout the week. This year’s edition was also marked by celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the inscription of the Holy Trinity Column on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Open monuments, guided tours, and concerts filled selected historically significant sites throughout the city. New features this year included musical performances and chamber recitals, as well as the return of night-time music-making under the Renaissance loggia. The highlight of the celebrations marking the anniversary of the inscription of the Holy Trinity Column on the UNESCO World Heritage List was an open-air concert by the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra on Upper Square.
