Basic information
Every year, the One World Film Festival presents films with human rights themes around the world and has long been one of the largest events of its kind in Europe. The festival is organised by the non-profit organisation People in Need.
In the past, the One World Festival came up with the unique concept of One World in the Regions, thanks to which individual “one-world” festivals are held across the country every year during March and April.
Each of these festivals operates independently and is unique with its own dramaturgy and its own innovations, guests and various forms of festival programme expansion.
Thanks to its regional scope, tens of thousands of Czech citizens meet and discuss important contemporary issues, thus contributing to the cultivation and education of our society.
