For nature lovers, here are some tips for trips. The Holy Hill offers, apart from the Zoological garden, the unique architecture of the Minor Basilica, or a seven-kilometer nature trail leading through Olomouc forests.
Admirers of various plants and trees can visit the Arboretum Bílá Lhota or Horizont in Bystrovany. The caves in Javoříčko and Mladeč are very popular too. Hikers and cyclists are recommended to take the route through Litovelské Pomoraví (a nature reserve with riparian woodlands) and have a stop at the newly built Centre for Ecological Activities Sluňákov in Horka nad Moravou. The local Information Centre will provide you with useful information. You will certainly enjoy hiking on the nature trail Velký Kosíř, which you can finish in the Slatinice Spa where the Museum of vintage cars is also located.
