Emergency care outside normal office hours of physicians (at night, on weekends or holidays) is provided by children's, adults and dental emergency services in the Teaching Hospital.

Pharmacies:
In the city, there are about 35 pharmacies available with normal operating hours until 6:00pm. In the evenings and at weekends there are pharmacies open at shopping centres.
In Olomouc, there are two hospitals (a Teaching Hospital and a Military Hospital) and several major medical facilities (health centres) with all kinds of treatments.
